Note: Lived in Cass Twp., Ohio with his father, Jeremiah and sister, Serepta in 1900. He lived with his sister, Serepta, in 1910 &1920 in Cass Township, Richland County, Ohio. He was a farmer. No issue from his marriage. He divorced Anna 13 Apr 1910. He taught school. Samuel's Bible was donated to the HHS Archives by Mary Ann BeVier in October 1998. Jeremiah came to Ohio with his parents in 1824.

Henry and Esther Wolph arrived in Cass Cty., Nebraska on May 27, He was instrumental in founding Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. He was elected representative in both the territorial & state legislatures of Nebraska.

Note: The Ohio Marriage Index indicates he was married in Huron County, Ohio! William was an employee of the B & O Railroad in Chicago Junction, Ohio and on Thursday August 23rd, 1900 he was severely injured while uncoupling railroad cars. He stumbled and fell while between two cars and fell outside the rails except for his left arm which was run over by the cars. He was rushed to the doctor's office and the arm was amputated. He was expected to recover nicely, but in a few hours took a turn for the worse from the shock and passed away. He was thought of as a gentleman and a loving family man. His obituary stated: "He lived for his family and his home was the sacred center of a brave and pure life. He was a kind husband and father, a good neighbor and a true brother to his associates. It was of some such character as the poet sang: To live in hearts we leave behind, Is not to die."
