Note: In January 1912, he was appointed postmaster of New Haven, Huron County, Ohio. He registered for the WW 1 draft in Huron County, Ohio in 1917-18. He ran a general grocery store & post office with his wife for many years in Norwalk, Ohio. He was listed there in that capacity in the census of 1920 & 1930. A 1921 newspaper article said;"The O. E. BeVier and Son Co. has sold its New Haven garage. The BeViers now operate the Shelby Chevrolet garage and salesroom.". The Ohio marriage Index indicates he was married in Huron County, Ohio!
