Note: He may have married Ada Howe. In 1900, he was a boarder in Cameron County, Grove Township, Pennsylvania. In 1917-1918, he registered for he WW 1 draft in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Another source indicates he did not marry.

Note: She and her husband met at Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania where both their families had moved. On New Year's day 1895, the couple ran off to Salamanca, NY and got married. During August of that same year they moved to Mannington, WVA where Harry took a job with his dad in the oil fields. Their life was very primitive. They had no water in the house and no means of entertainment save a Victrola. To obtain groceries, they had to make a two day trip to the nearest store. While living at Smithfield and after their 50th anniversary, Olvia got liver cancer and was finally treated at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore where she died.
