Note: Philip H. Bevier was born at Gardiner, New York. He graduated with honors from Rutgers College in 1882 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He was a topographer for the Geological Survey of New Jersey for one year. For the five succeeding years he was an engineer of the Nicaragua Canal Construction Company and then was superintendent of construction for National Fire proofing Company. He has been credited with several inventions in fireproof construction that he patented. He was considered an expert in fireproof construction. His main residence was in Brooklyn, New York. Went to England for Nicaragua Canal Construction Co.
In 1900, they resided in Kings County, Brooklyn Borough, Ward #22. During the census of 1920, he was living in Brooklyn, New York with his daughter Marguerite and son Kenneth.
