Note: During the census of 1920, Fred Bevier had a daughter in law, Myrtle C. Tanner, age 29 and grandson, William B. Tanner, age 01 living with him.He lived in Wayne County, Wolcott Twp., New York in 1900 with his mother, wife and nephew. He and his wife ran a furniture store and mortuary.

Note: Census indicates a date of birth of May 1863. In 1880, she was living with her parents in Niles, Cayuga County, New York and was listed as a school teacher at the age of almost 17. The couple lived in Wolcott, Wayne County, New York. Fred was a funeral director and furniture store prop. Cora graduated from Cortland Normal School and taught at the Lodi school for many years. .

Note: He was in the insurance business in Philadelphia and resided in Media, Pennsylvania in 1890. In 1900, he had moved to Ward #27 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1910, he lived in Philadelphia, Ward #46. He was a special agent for the Queen Fire Insurance Co. and later life insurance. His father Richard T. Bevier lived with him and was 85 years old.

Note: At the age of 18 he started to learn the drug business in Summit, New Jersey. After passing the New Jersey examination he bought a store in Matteawan, New York where he conducted business for 20 years. In Jan 1908, he was coroner for Matteawan. After marrying Kate Brown, he moved to Poughkeepsie where he was the proprietor of a large and flourishing pharmacy business.

Note: Conrad, after completing his elementary school education, attended Holbrook's Military School at Sing Sing for two years. In 1900, he was a boarder and drug clerk in Bronx, New York. His date of birth was stated as March 1872. He went into the drug business with his brother, Henry B. Bevier, at Poughkeepsie, but later removed to Kingston, New York, where he was a well-known druggist. He resided in Kingston, NY in 1920.
