Note: In 1894, he was appointed Village Clerk in Olean, NY. He was employed by Erie Railroad for 13 years and then became assistant postmaster in Olean, New York by 1900. He resided in North Olean Village. His wife is named Lucy Euseba in the census of 1920 and they resided in Olean, NY. He was a member of the 43rd Company of the New York State National Guard in Olean, NY. He was elected Justice of the Peace in He was called E.W. Bevier and his middle name could have been Wallace or Walter as both were used in various newspaper accounts of his local newsworthy accomplishments.

Note: T. H. Bevier visited his brother in Olean, NY in 1888 and the newspaper article said he lived in Washington, DC. He lived in McKean County, Pennsylvania in 1910 and was listed as Henry T. Bevier.
