Stillings, Charles Edward (b. 21 NOV 1898, d. 25 JAN 1974)
Note: He served in the US Army Air Corps 1917-1918. He worked in the oil fields around Eureka, West Virginia, Pennsylvania Railroad when he met his wife in Altoona, PA. In 1941, he worked on the Big Inch Pipeline in Marietta, PA. He then was employed by the Fred Seitz plumbing and heating business from which he retired in 1970. He remarried a widow, Elnora Claire Merritts Korb, and they lived together nine years before he suffered a totally disabling stroke in 1973. He lived the remainder of his life in the Veteran's Hospital in Altoona, PA.

Note: He graduated from Weston, West Virginia High School in 1918. His father had taught him telegraphy, so he used that skill to obtain a job with the B & O Railroad. After marrying, he moved to Mannington, WVA where he worked for Eureka Pipeline. He worked with various pipelines and oil companies the rest of his life. He retired to Sun City, California with his sister Marie. He died of cancer in 1974 in New Port Richey, Florida.
