Note: Frank Day had two children by his first marriage, Curtis and Janet Day. They were step-children to Rachel. Janet was a life-long companion to Rachel.
Rachel DeWitt Day inherited the old Dutch Bible belonging to Conrad Bevier. She subsequently gave this family heirloom to her cousin, Edwin Ambrose BeVier. The author (Dale A. BeVier) now possesses this valuable artifact of the Bevier family and it will be passed on to future generations of Beviers.
