Note: Honor graduate of Geneva, New York High School in 1910. Graduate of William Smith College (Cum Laude). Extremely brilliant mind. Read the Bible in Greek. She told her brother Edwin she could understand it better in Greek than in English. Died of TB after a long bout with that disease. Clarke Arno Richards farmed in Indiana, then ran a retail business in Kansas City. Clarke was also an alumni representative for U. of Wisconsin.

Note: Her occupation was practical nursing. She trained at Geneva General Hospital. Charlotte supported her family of three little boys by doing practical nursing at the homes of patients. Grandparents, Charles and Florence, took care of the young children while Charlotte was absent.

Note: Graduated Rochester School of Optometry in 1918. Practiced in Syracuse & Buffalo, New York Opened a private practice in Canandaigua, New York in 1925. He practiced full time with his son Dale from 1957 until 1964, thereafter until 1983 he practiced part-time. He loved his chosen profession. At age 85, he was still staff optometrist at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Canandaigua.
He was very interested in Bevier family history and he was one of the first members (#065) of the Huguenot Historical Society and the Bevier-Elting Family Association. He helped Ken Hasbrouck gather information for his branch of the family for the 1970 Bevier genealogy. Active in many phases of the First Methodist Church in Canandaigua. He taught Sunday School for decades and was Superintendent of Sunday School for many years. He was a self-taught musician and played the piano, organ, and violin skillfully and with passion. Inherited his father's mechanical abilities and was known in the family as "the fix-it man." He instituted the practice of capitalizing the V in his surname in his branch of the family.
